About the Performance
From bow to scroll, BSO string players describe the true determination, perseverance, and grit needed to be a member of a professional orchestra. The energy and emotion of the strings is showcased with works by Nielsen and Vaughan Williams. Assistant Conductor Jonathan Rush interviews film composer Michael Abels, who penned the original motion picture soundtracks for Jordan Peele's Get Out and Us, ahead of the BSO premiere of the composer's Delights and Dances.
